We took Precious to the vet on Monday in her cat bag. She was very relaxed for the entire visit. That is saying a lot since we took our 3 year old dog to the vet at the same time. While we were there, the vet commented on how nice the cat bags are. He told me he used one of his just last week to treat an abscess on the face of a feisty old cat who had been fighting the treatment.
“I bought one of you bags at the last Pet Expo in Columbus, Ohio. Saw it recently on the shelf and said to myself – it was such a great idea but haven’t used it – why did I buy it??
THEN, my cat got a puncture wound on his ear which was looking worse after a few days – I began to use the bag, put a warm wash cloth on his ear 2x a day for 4-5 days and a little antibiotic salve and his ear is now all better. Of course I would have taken him to the vet if it had not improved!! I couldn’t have cared for the ear without your bag! And I was able to do it by myself – otherwise, it would have taken both my husband and I and somebody would have gotten scratched. The cat tolerated the bag well, with a little wiggling here and there but that was it!!!! Thank you so much!!!“
I wanted to let you know that I LOVE these! I originally got one at the National Capital Cat Show a couple of years ago. It was a blessing for my kitty that hates being in a carrier. He would rub his head raw and howl the whole time. Ash took right to the Cat-In-The-Bag. He gets in without fighting and sits quietly through the ride and I like that I can pet his head easily. Everyone at the vet’s office thinks it’s great too and they’ll call people out from the back to look at it. I recently got a five month old kitten and needed to take both cats to a vet appointment and immediately regretted not having a second bag. Now they can both travel in style! Gizmo took right to his bag too, and, even with the large bag, it still works well for him. The neck cinches right up to fit, and its great that it can be adjusted as he grows! Thanks so much for this wonderful invention!
